Our client a leading multi-media outlet firm is seeking candidates for a Broadcast Media Manager position. Must have experience with local broadcast stations. You will be responsible for managing daily activities of sales support functions with Broadcast operations staff in Philadelphia.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build proposals and media plans from client specs; work with Broadcast Negotiators to come up with best pricing
- Construct final order contracts, lineups, additional deal points, options, and flowcharts
- Assist Sales in any client questions/requests
- Analyze and distribute all Nielsen post documents. Compile posts for client distribution.
- Analyze different streams of post data and forecast delivery estimates
- Build pricing and planning strategies and improve process of submissions (i.e. trackers, rate cards, proposals and plan templates, post templates)
- Monitor the tracking of media buys and provide insight to improve delivery
- Build monthly breakout of the client’s buy for Accounts receivable to send with monthly invoices
- Track submitted sales plans; Generate and distribute weekly sales reports
- Directs how the buys are being tracked and posted by the Traffic Administrator; direction is also given on how buys need to be adjusted to meet client specs
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 plus years working experience with either agency buying/planning or cable/broadcast/unwired ad sales/support
- Media Math knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Good communication skills, analytical
